Evaluation of website.

Our group chose to search for information on the loch ness monster. After typing this into google around 3million results came up. We then individualy searched different websites to find the best one. We came up with one site each then decided as a group which one would be the most suitable to use. We chose http://www.loch-ness.org/

The site had loads of information on it, was easy to use and had real and fake arguments. we found out who the author of the site was (A.G.Harmsworth) and we googled him. We checked when the site was created and when it was last updated. we also used the easywhois search on the website.
By doing these checks we discovered that the site was created on the 4th january 1999 and was last updated on the 26th january this year. We also were able to find out that the site expires in 2012.

The website was devoted to the understanding of the loch ness monster mystery. It had lots of nessie facts and pictures. Although most of the pictures were still awaiting upload.

We had many positive and negative thoughts on this ebsite but still decided that it was the best one for us to use.

Overall I think we chose the best website for our search on the loch ness monster and the searches we did to check the site validity really helped us whilst making our choice.
